[1] THE 9TH INFANTRY DIVISION IN VIETNAM. Not since the Civil War has the U.S. Army mounted a continuing offensive on the waters of strategic inland rivers. Until, that is, the days of the Rung Sat, My Tho, and teh Mekong River. This remarkable footage tells the story of the 9th Division as it mobilized reconnaisance, blocking and pursuit operations with its crack Mobile Riverine Force.

[2]RIVERINE OPERATIONS. The riverine force in IV Corps was a joint Army-Navy operation. This film concentrates on the mission of this unique fleet, the vessels used, facilities afloat and ashore, and the complex planning of an assault operation. If you served in the Mobile Riverine Force, this film will certainly bring back memories.

[3]COUNTERGUERILLA STRIKE OPERATIONS. Once an enemy force was located, every available means was brought together to destroy it before it could disappear. Here you ride the "choppers" of a quick reaction force, see aerial strikes and learn how our combat soldiers dealt with VC tactics.

[4]COUNTERGUERILLA CONSOLIDATION OPERATIONS. Consolidation operations could frequently be the toughest combat missions in Vietnam. You had to be ever ready to react against what appeared to be a peaceful villager. This instructional film shows how a typical hamlet was sealed off and searched for enemy personnel and equipment by using footage from an actual operation in Vietnam.

A video history of Americans in Vietnam featuring some of the most remarkable combat footage ever filmed. These videos are specially packaged for C.I.B. MEDIA with 3 to 7 films per video. These exciting videos are so real you can almost smell the gunpowder, sweat and diesel fuel.

The original films are from the U.S. government?s film archives. Some films were originally made to train replacement troops on what to expect in a combat situation and to build esprit de corps within the subject unit. A few segments may have slight color fading. This video series was created using only the highest quality duplication equipment and materials. Film quality varies from fair to excellent. VHS Format available call toll free 866-242-1811
